Our collective aim is to create truly world class event dining experiences for our guests so they will want to return again and again.
We are delighted, incredibly proud and very humbled to be recognised with these awards.
Winning 5 awards at tonight’s event means we have now received 47 Gold Plates – an amazing achievement for a brand which began in the Swan Valley 184 years ago and has operated continuously since.

Since inception in 1967, The Catering Institute of Western Australia’s Gold Plate Awards program has rewarded excellence and encouraged hospitality professionals to strive for success.
To be judged successfully each time requires consistent effort, dedication, attention to detail and reaching the very highest guest standards. It was fantastic the 2023 program recognised our functions operation for the first time since 2012.
We are grateful for the time and commitment of the program’s judges, and we salute all the other category finalists for 2024.
We are completely committed to exceeding guests’ expectations at every Sandalford Wines experience we deliver. This aim is part of the vision of owners Peter and Debra Prendiville, who have progressively developed and positioned our business as the leading wine tourism asset in Australia.
