Sandalford awarded double GOLD and judged as Australia's BEST!

 

 

Western Australia’s most awarded winery hospitality faclity has been judged Australia’s best in two categories at the National Hostplus Awards for Excellence by the Restaurant & Catering Association:

Swan Valley’s Sandalford Wines has been selected as Australia’s Best Events Caterer and Best Contemporary Australian Restaurant (Informal) at the 2025 Hostplus Awards for Excellence by the Restaurant & Catering Association held in Sydney on Monday 27 October 2025.    

This year was one for the record books with the highest number of nominations ever across the country.  

CEO Grant Brinklow said the twin accolades capped 2025, the year Sandalford Wines celebrates an extraordinary milestone of 185 years since its establishment.  

“In the last 35 years the estate’s current owners, the Prendiville family, and the team here have worked tirelessly to position Sandalford as one of the finest wineries in the state.”

“This year more than 250,000 guests will visit us to dine, attend a corporate event, experience a wedding or a concert or enjoy a wine tasting among many other regular activites at the Estate.

  

Underpinning every unforgettable experience here is the commitment and dedication of almost 200 staff to providing utterly unforgettable hospitality experiences for each and every guest.”

“We are exceptionally proud to have those efforts recognised first at state level back in July but now the national stage.  To have our wine, cuisine and hospitality showcased alongside Australia’s best makes us incredibly proud.”

Grant paid tribute to and thanked Sandalford’s leadership teams.  

“Kudos goes to Senior Winemaker Ross Pamment and his viticulture team, to Executive Chef Alan Spagnolo and his world class kitchen brigade of 22 professionals who deliver second to none experiences supported by a front of house team in both the Restaurant and Functions areas who focus attentively on the needs of each and every guest and strive to provide true hospitality that delivers our guests much more than a simple service experience.  It’s for this reason  so many of our customers  return here time and time again.”
