The Sandalford Bar and Restaurant celebrates a marriage of modern Australian and contemporary European cuisine where the fulsome flavour of WA’s phenomenal seasonal produce is enhanced by hand-rolled pasta, wood-fired pizza and artisanal products. Our bustling, open kitchen creates delectable, healthy dishes destined to delight the most discerning diner, while the restaurant’s tranquil, leafy ambience issues an invitation to relax and indulge all the senses.

Created to complement our ever expanding range of celebrated wines, executive chef Alan Spagnolo’s Sandalford 2022 Spring Menu brings together Western Australia’s signature seasonal produce and Sandalford’s exclusive cuisine culture.

To begin, sweet and delicate Hiramasa Kingfish is paired with citrusy calamansi, green chilli, smoked cream fraiche, Shark Bay scallops and Abrolhos Island octopus re-appear, and best of all, Black Pearl Oscietra Gold – a creamy, nutty caviar in a league of its own due to its perfect golden colour – makes a stunning guest appearance.  

For mains, Alan showcases globe artichoke in a tart served with Spring vegetable salad, giant, silky squares of Fazzoletti pasta resting in Stracciatella holds Shark Bay blue swimmer crab, and Western Australian beef brands Kerrigan Valley sirloin and Pitch Black Angus fillet wait to be selected.  

Welcome the change of season with sensational desserts such as a rich milk Bahibe chocolate with sablé shortbread, or torched peach, chocolate and yuzu granita, or a delicate petite meringe with rose crème fraiche, raspberry, strawberry, lychee, and pistachio.

Our Spring children’s menu features Mt Barker chicken and orecchiette pasta, and presents a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
