Degustation Dinner in the all new Bar and Restaurant
Enjoy an evening of fine dining and superb wine at the exclusive and intimate Sandalford Estate Degustation Dinner on Friday, 9 July 2021.
Set in our beautiful, newly renovated bar and restaurant, you will experience the best our multi-award winning Estate has to offer. The freshest local produce is complimented perfectly by a selection of our finest, world-class wines and will be enjoyed in the magnificent surroundings of our Swan Valley estate.
Priced at $225 per person, our Executive Chef, Alan Spagnolo, has designed the Degustation Dinner to showcase some of his favourite Western Australian and Swan Valley seasonal products and producers.
On arrival, you will be welcomed to our outstanding cellar door to enjoy a glass of our Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir and canapes of Delizia Stracciatella, smoked courgette pickle, honey and pistachio.
Participate in some wine tasting or move straight to your table to enjoy five courses of exquisite culinary cuisine. Chef has created a tantalising menu that will excite the taste buds, including wood-fired Shark Bay scampi and king prawns.
His menu progresses with his second course of roasted butternut pumpkin, eggplant, forest mushroom, Manjimup truffle and herb mascarpone. Then onto a third course of Dardanup lamb rump before moving into the fourth course of Wagin duck breast.
Each dish is perfectly matched with a wine selected by our Senior Winemaker, Ross Pamment. “I have chosen each wine specifically to complement each course. You will enjoy current release whites and a glorious Verdelho that showcases how beautifully the variety can age.”
“As you enjoy your incredible meal, compare and contrast two vintages of Prendiville Cabernet Sauvignon and relish in a Shiraz from what is considered one of the great Margaret River vintages from the previous decade.”
A trip to Sandalford wouldn’t be completed without a decadent desert. Your culinary journey continues with a whipped lemon cheesecake, caramelised peanut gelato and chocolate brittle before finishing with our finest Sandalford Founders Reserve Liqueur Tawny and Espresso Coffee and Loose Leaf Teas.
