Australia's love affair with MICHAEL BUBLÉ is continuing, with Sandalford Wines, Dainty Consolidated Entertainment and Zaccaria Events thrilled to announce that his Crazy Love tour is coming to both the Swan Valley and Margaret River.
The Canadian superstar – who The Australian newspaper called "the best in the business" – will be in the Swan Valley and Margaret River in March 2011.
MICHAEL BUBLÉ is a blockbuster act, closing in on two million album sales in Australia. His worldwide sales stand at 25 million.
Australia gave Michael his first number one album anywhere in the world when his 2003 self-titled set hit top spot in May 2004. That album is now seven times platinum. The 2005 follow-up, It's Time, is five times platinum, as is Michael's 2007 album, Call Me Irresponsible.
This tour will be Michael's eighth trip to Australia (four concert tours and four promotional visits).
He's performed at the TV WEEK Logie Awards, played at the AFL Grand Final, guest starred in Kath & Kim, and most recently was the face of Foxtel's coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
But, of course, it's all about the music, with the Crazy Love Tour celebrating Michael's latest chart-topping album, his fourth studio set, which debuted at number one in Australia and the US.
Crazy Love – which includes the Bublé originals Haven't Met You Yet and Hold On – is already five times platinum in Australia, having sold close to 350,000 copies. Worldwide sales are closing in on five million.
"My songs have always been about love," Michael explains, "mine and everyone else's. But this time it was a little more extreme, and I dug deeper – way deeper."
The multiple-Grammy winner last toured Australia in 2008, when he did 18 sold-out shows, the reviews were outstanding with The Age newspaper saying "Australia can't get enough of Michael Bublé. From the first note, the crowd was putty in his hands."
Michael has made the classics his own, delivering thrilling interpretations of songs such as Sway, Come Fly With Me, Fever, Kissing A Fool, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?, Save The Last Dance For Me, and Quando, Quando, Quando.
The Crazy Love album includes Michael's versions of Cry Me A River, Georgia On My Mind, the Eagles' Heartache Tonight, and, of course, Van Morrison's Crazy Love.
"The one trick that can't be borrowed or learned is genuineness," stated the New York Post review of Michael's Crazy Love show. "There's nothing phony about Bublé. When he speaks to the crowd, it's as if you're in his living room."
And Michael is at home on the road. "I just love getting in front of people. It's so important to be in touch with your audience. They've paid their money, I want them to be entertained. If they want to cry or laugh or dance or sing or yell, they can do whatever they want.
"My responsibility is just to take them away."
As The New York Times reviewer wrote after Michael's Crazy Love show at Madison Square Garden, "His sincerity seems rooted in an attitude that might be summed up in a phrase: We're in this together." "I can't bullshit my fans," Michael says simply. "They will know it's real because they will feel it, too. And after that, we are no longer strangers."

Travel and Accommodation Packages for Margaret River Concert

Transport - Swan Valley
We suggest taking public transport to the Midland Train Station. Shuttle buses will depart every half hour from Victoria Street near the train station, between 3.30pm and 7.45pm. The shuttle will return patrons to the train station after the concert from approximately 10pm.

There are 2 main roads into the property:
Metricup Road; and
Caves Road
Off Metricup Road there are 3 entries into the Estate:
- All VIP ticket holders (Stardust and Crazy Love) need to access the dedicated VIP entrance road by travelling east to west along Metricup Road (we recommend guests enter Metricup Road from either Bussell Highway or Caves Road) – the VIP entrance is the first entry road as marked (on the left) into the Estate;
- All General Admission and Platinum Reserved Seat holders travelling by bus and or car directly from Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton and Dunsborough are recommended to also travel east to west along Metricup Road (we again recommend guests enter Metricup Road from the Bussell Highway) – the entrance for these persons is second entry road as marked (on the left) into the Estate; and
- All General Admission and Platinum Reserved Seat holders travelling by car from Yalingyup or anywhere north of the Estate should enter Metricup Road from Caves Road (turn left off Caves in Metricup) and then travel west to east along Metricup before turning right into the Estate at the entrance to the Estate lying immediately adjacent to the boundary with Evans & Tate.
Off Caves Road there is 1 entrance into the Estate:
- All General Admission and Platinum Reserved Seat holders travelling by car from Margaret River or anywhere south of the Estate should travel south to north along Caves Road before turning right into the clearly marked entrance into the Estate.
Parking Details in the Swan Valley and Margaret River
Parking is available on site at both Sandalford venues however we strongly encourage all patrons to use public transport. Please allow additional time if you are driving and parking at the venue. No parking on surrounding street verges or local residents property (NB Rangers from local councils will be issuing infringements to vehicles parking illegally around the perimeter of Sandalford Estate).
Important: IF YOU ARE DRIVING, PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO GET TO THE VENUE AND PARK YOU CAR - EXPECT DELAYS OF BETWEEN 40-60 MINUTES IN GETTING INTO BEFORE AND THEN OUT OF THE VENUES AFTER THE SHOW.
Venue Collects
Tickets can be collected at the Ticktek office at the venue just prior to the show, however patrons are urged to collect their tickets prior to showday, to avoid long queues on the night. Tickets can be collected from any City Box Office Collection Point.
Weather
Please note that we play rain or shine. You may bring wet weather protection such as ponchos and raincoats however umbrellas are not permitted.
What you can bring
You can bring: Picnic rug, Picnic hamper, Plastic bottled water or soft drink (no alcohol)
What you cannot bring
You can’t bring: BYO Alcohol, Glass, Umbrellas, Tables, Metal cutlery, Tents or shelters, Wine spikes, Video or recording equipment, Professional camera equipment.
Chairs
You can bring deck chairs with you to the concert however those with high backs will be positioned to the rear of the venue.
VIP ("Crazy Love" and "Stardust") and Platinum ticket holders:
You will have a designated, reserved seat so you do not need to bring a chair or picnic rug.
Alcohol
Strictly no BYO alcohol and no glass can be brought into or taken from the venue. This is a fully licensed event with full bar service available.
Smoking
Both concerts are SMOKE FREE EVENTS. Limited designated smoking areas will be available however smoking is not permitted in any other area other than the designated areas.
Conditions of Entry
* All bags will be searched upon entry and exit of the venue.
* Any prohibited items will be confiscated.
* All patrons must observe and adhere to the local licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol practices.
Children
Children under 18 years who have purchased a ticket can only be permitted if accompanied by parent, step-parent or legal guardian. If not, they will be refused entry and will not receive a refund on the ticket.
