Dreambuilders Church will once again be presenting “Carols in the Valley” at Sandalford Wines on Sunday December 20, 2009.

In 2005 Dreambuilders Church Senior Ministers, Dale and Karen Hewitt, felt it was time that the Swan Valley had a large scale Christmas Carols event in the genre of “Carols by Candlelight” in Melbourne or “Carols in the Domain” in Sydney.  The event has been held every year since and has attracted crowds in excess of 11,000 people.

“Christmas is a busy and often stressful time of the year and we see ‘Carols in the Valley’ as a great opportunity for the wider City of Swan community to come together, relax, enjoy a sense of community and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas” Pastor Dale Hewitt said.

“Carols in the Valley” is a free to the public event and is funded by State and Local Government grants, local business sponsors and the generous donations of the Dreambuilders Church members.

The event features the Dreambuilders Church band and choir as well as local Western Australian tenor, Dave Smith, who is a great friend of “Carols in the Valley”.  As usual the event concludes with a Huge Fireworks Finale!

Entry to the event is free with a gold coin donation for onsite parking.

Gates open at 5.00pm with pre-show childrens entertainment commencing at 6.30pm.  Carols begin at 7.30pm.
