A Day on the Green

Nationally, "a day on the green" has become one of the most popular and fastest growing outdoor events on the summer concert calendar. Where else can you laze on a deck chair or picnic rug with a group of friends, fine food, wine in hand, kick back and enjoy great music in a superb outdoor location?
Back for it's 4th consecutive year "a day on the green" was once again an outstanding success, headlined by arguably Australia's best singer songwriter, the amazing Paul Kelly. The awesome line-up also included the exquisite vocals of Kate Noonan with George, acclaimed singer songwriter Mark Seymour front man for Hunters and Collectors, and the soulful harmonies of Vika & Linda.
On a balmy summers day, concert goers sat back with fine food and wine in hand and enjoyed a superlative line-up of entertainment.
Paul Kelly and his band proved to be an unforgettable concert experience, "Before too long", "To her door", "Last train" and "Dumb Things" were but a few of what the audience enjoyed from a repertoire of his extraordinary body of work.
And for those who wanted to enjoy the day in style, Platinum ticket holders enjoyed the ease of VIP parking and grooved to the tunes while enjoying a non-stop ever-changing array of food and fine wine and beers under market umbrella in the VIP area.
Once again the Kids Entertainment Zone kept the little people happy, running children's entertainers, face painting, story telling and other activities free for the children throughout the afternoon.
