Luscious red wine. Dark berry and plum fruit really fill-out the palate. Firm but powdery tannins with great length to the finish. Well balanced nuances of new French oak but the fruit is definitely the driver of this style.

Margaret River experienced one of the hottest and driest summers on record. However, the heat was a constant with virtually no searingly hot days above 35 degrees Celsius especially in Margaret River.

This wine was made as a Rose from the very first day in the vineyard. The fruit was picked mid March and crushed to a press for 6 hours skin contact time. Once the desired colour and flavour was attained the juice was drained from the press and cold-settled.
